The Blessedness of Dwelling in the House of God
Who desires God’s blessings today? Let’s come together in His house for spiritual refreshment.
How lovely is Your tabernacle,
O Lord of hosts!
My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young—
Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts,
My King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They will still be praising You.

Which lines of this psalm speak to you today?
Dear Heavenly Father, draw our hearts to You today in true worship. May we find rest and strength for our souls in Your house. Protect us in these days where wickedness dwells openly in the land. Give us Your grace, fill our lives with good things, and bless us with Your presence as we place our trust in You, our Redeemer and Lord. In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
A reminder each day is “… blessed is the man who trusts in You.” One of my favorite Psalms to reflect upon whom God is my friend. Thank you so much for sharing the blessings of His goodness and glory with me today.
It reminds me of the song, “‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His word…how I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er…oh for grace to trust Him more.” He is a wonderful Friend! Thanks, J.D. Have a blessed day of rest.

I’m on a new mission of praising and praying throughout the day. That includes every time I wake up and well.
