God bless America and all the freedoms our Constitution affords to our citizens!

May we also be mindful in the midst of our celebrations that freedom isn’t free. It comes with a great price–the priceless blood of those who have fought and died for the political freedom we celebrate today.

Jesus also paid the ultimate price on the cross for our spiritual freedom. His shed blood sets us free from death, hell, and the grave. His resurrection power seals our eternity with Him in heaven. “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery” (Galatians 5:1 NASB).
